More About ALL CONFERENCE BASKETBALLMake some room in the trophy case!The Woodland Hills rifle team won the WPIAL Team Championship on Tuesday, the 12th team title in program history and the seventh as Woodland Hills High School! The program previously won five titles as Churchill High School. This is the first WPIAL title for the program since it captured three in a row from 2014-16.The team posted a score of 800.53x, edging out second place Hempfield and third place Butler for the trophy. Avery Thomas and Shamira Pennell made the WPIAL All-Tournament Team with impressive scores of 100-10x, which were the highest scores in the competition.Coached by Matthew Rodrigues, Chuck Pantalone, Robert Carr, and Sarah Rodocker, the team features students Caden Beeler, Ella Devore, Lillian Divelbiss, Brycen Filus, Elizabeth Geyer, Ben Hill, Renee Kilpatrick, Owen Kozlowski, Anthony Nemanic, Leila Nestico, Shamira Pennell, and Avery Thomas.The team has now qualified for the state championships, but first up are the WPIAL Individual

More About Girls Basketball Senior RecWednesday night was the final home swimming meet of the regular season for the Wolverines, which meant it was time to honor eight senior swimmers who have been part of the program.Seven Woodland Hills seniors and one senior from Trinity Christian who swims with the Woodland Hills program were recognized prior to the meet against Shaler. Each of the Woodland Hills seniors has made a positive impact on the program during their time as Wolverines. Many of them are longtime swimmers and their experience will undoubtedly leave an impression on the underclassmen who are part of the program.Congratulations to each of the seniors on their outstanding swimming careers and best of luck to all of the Wolverines swimmers who will be taking part in the WPIAL championships later this season.
