Thursday was senior recognition for the varsity wrestling team prior to the dual meet against Carrick and Washington.
Four seniors were honored during the match, three of whom were able to be there with their families. All four senior wrestlers have made incredibly positive contributions to the wrestling program during their time with the team and should be commended for the hard work they've put in during practices and meets.
The three seniors who were present Thursday evening have also contributed to the overall growth of girls wrestling in Pennsylvania. It became an officially sanctioned sport a couple of years ago and continues to expand throughout the state.
